With the world heading inexorably to a horrible death, we started to wonder what impact the latest digital recycled papers would have on the environment and saving mankind and how we could best use them ourselves.
We have made major changes at Diji to ensure our environmental policies are actual and not just 'green-say'. We now have far superior printing presses than we had 6 months ago which means less break downs, less parts used, less wastage and they don't use harmful silicon oil finishes like the previous Xerox presses use.
Internally, our company policy requires all our staff to recycle everything, whether it is placed in our white waste collection bin or used as internal note pads, all paper gets a second life at Diji. We have also adopted a 'paper for schools' policy whereby we give all outdated or environment damaged paper to schools to use for students to draw on.
The presses we use also have energy saving shut down modes and the manufacturer have an extensive recycling programme of their own to ensure we are using some of the cleanest, safest print products on the market today.

PAPERS USED: We can print on nearly ALL recycled papers. Greencoat  is our chosen standard recycled paper which is manufactured exclusively for Howard Smith Paper on the shores of Lake Garda in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Recycling paper has advanced dramatically over the last 15 years to the point where paper can be ‘born again’ and environmentally friendly without compromising print quality or carrying a premium price.
We are now offering probably the widest range of papers supplied from a digital print company.
We now use Cyclus Offset, the chosen paper from the Environment Agency. Cyclus is a offset litho paper but we have the technology to print it digitally and this particular paper gives that recycled feel and look to it. Another favorite is the  Mohawk paper range from Canada which  is produced using wind-generated electricity.
